This is a history about the song "Glory Glory" which is the "pride and glory" for Man Utd fans. They rightly deserve to chant that song as they are 'THE' team for two decades now. But what really annoys me is that when I sang Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur (which is also the official Sours song), some Man Utd fans will come up to me and tell me, "Go get your own song!" I was like, WTH...dont you know football history at all? I have the utmost respect for your team, but u just shove me like that for just singing that song, which is also the official song for my team? Have u got no shame? Now, here is a little fact for u, who disses other teams singing the Glory glory song. And these are all facts! And FACTS DONT LIE!
Manchester United fans have been singing this song since the early 1980s, and in the 1990s it became widely popular among opposition supporters to manipulate the words of the song when playing Manchester United to "Who The Fuck Are Man United". Since this point, Manchester United supporters have generally adopted the manipulated lyrics of the song themselves in preference to the original lyrics, as an ironic gesture, usually after a goal has been scored against a rival team, or at any time while winning.
Tottenham have a similar song following a different tune than of Manchester United's. The first to use the same underlying tune as Manchester United's was Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur which can be traced back to the in the 1960s. Leeds United also started singing the song in the late 1960's and was released in the UK charts. The song also references former player, Billy Bremner and Don Revie as 'king', which further proves the dating.
So there you have it! So if you wanna sing, by all means, sing! But know the facts first before dissing others! Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur!
Footie fans, behold! This is a place where I talk shit about football in general. So, Ball-ocks, here we go!

Where is he now part 1 - LEE MARTIN (Man Utd FA CUP 90 Hero)
Where the heck is Lee Martin Now? Or u asked- who the fish is Lee Martin??? In case ure young and have no idea who is this unlucky leftback, this is the answer..
Martin started his career in the Manchester United youth system. In 1990, he scored the only goal in the FA Cup final replay against Crystal Palace. This was one of just two goals Martin scored in his entire United career. The other goal, his first, came 16 months earlier in the 3–1 defeat of West Ham at Upton Park.
His debut had come in the 1987–88 season and he made his breakthrough at left back the following season following the departure of Arthur Albiston. He played in 32 out of 38 league games in the cup winning 1989–90 campaign, but managed just 14 league games the following season as Clayton Blackmore established himself as United's regular left-back.
However, he did not make the squad for the side that won the European Cup Winners Cup a year later.
He managed just one league appearance in 1991–92 and did not make the squad for the Football League Cup winning team. However, he did collect a European Super Cup winner's medal on 19 November 1991 when he featured in their 1–0 triumph over Red Star Belgrade at Old Trafford, though he was substituted in the 71st minute in favour of Ryan Giggs.
He failed to make a single league appearance in 1992–93 season, when they won the first FA Premier League title. His final appearance came on 23 October 1993 in a 1–0 Premier League win over Everton at Goodison Park, as United were on course for retaining the league title. They also went on to win the FA Cup that season. 1993–94 saw the introduction of squad numbers in the Premier League, and Martin made one appearance in the number 21 shirt.
Towards the end of his time at Manchester United, Martin regularly captained the reserve side.
Martin played a total of 108 games and scored two goals for United before he left Old Trafford in January 1994 to join Celtic, where he suffered a broken leg within months of his arrival. He played just 19 times in the league in more than two years as Celtic failed to overhaul Rangers, who were league champions of Scotland in each of three seasons that Martin spent north of the border. Celtic's only major honour during Martin's time there was the Scottish FA Cup in 1995, but he didn't make the squad for that game.
He finally left Celtic in 1996 and signed for Bristol Rovers, from where he later had a loan spell with Huddersfield Town. He retired from professional football in 1998.
He then moved to the semi-professional League of Wales team Bangor City, Glossop North End and then to NEWI Cefn Druids in 2006.
Martin retired from football in 2008, and currently works with young people helping them to gain qualifications, access college and get apprenticeships or employment in the West Cheshire area

JUST IN- Rooney to SPURS??
Well, a host of clubs have hinted to be interested in signing Wayne Rooney. It is thought the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea are very much interested in the Shrek lookalike. But get this, Harry Redknapp has said in an interview, Spurs need just 2 or 3 more WORLD CLASS players to enable us to challange for the league. And some paper in the UK said that one of the three is, cheekily, Rooney!
Now, now. I am supposed to be excited at the prospect of having Rooney in our ranks, but I dont see it happen. I mean, Rooney is asking Man Utd for 200,000 GBP per week, whereas Spurs have a specific wage ceilling. 200k is just too much. Plus, Real Madrid looks like Rooney's likely destination as it will involve a straight swap with Lassana Diarra and Karim Benzema, who was on SAF's wanted list last season. Thirdly, Spurs will have to let go 2 of our strikers, most likely, Robbie Keane and perhaps Peter Crouch. Roman Pavyuchenko is the fan's darling and Harry Redknapp is a fan of his, so I guess he will stay. But that will leave us with Jermaine Defoe who only recently clicked with Rooney in the England setup with Shrek playing deep. I am not sure if this is Rooney's fav position.
It would be great if he comes, but to tell u frankly, I really doubt it will happen. Anyway, good luck Spurs who will play Inter at the San Siro in about 5 mins! Cmon You Spurs!

The Liverpool Scenario
I am not a Kopper. But I feel for my Liverpool supporter friends. They did not qualify for the Champions League, they were involved in court cases, star players left and their league position leaves them in the bottom 2. This is not Liverpool at all. They were the best team in England with players like Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, John Barnes and PHIL BABB!
But for me, the core of this failure, dates way back during Rafa's time. No doubt he was the one who guided Liverpool as the European champions, but he have made some silly signings. He bought Robbie Keane, Jermaine Pennant, Andrea Dossena, Fernando Morientes, Lucas and Ryan Babel. He also failed to sign good backups for each position, hence I think their European success are based on fitness. They were lucky to have most players availabe for the final! Imagine, if there were no Gerrard, Carragher, Xabi, Luiz Garcia and Dudek in the final. Their failure to have depth in their team has finally proved costly for them. I think that is their problem. And when Roy Hodgson came in, he bought the likes of Konchensky, Poulsen, Meireles, Joe Cole and Jovanovic. I think the later two are class players, but Hodgson doesnt seem to rate them both, and as a result, they were often thrown as benchwarmers. But Konchesky as 1st choice LB for a team of Liverpool's caliber? Hmm, I doubt that.
So it would be interesting to see how Hodgson will shape his team come January. Obviously, Liverpool need someone who could partner Torres or perhaps push Torres to the limit. Right now, they rely on Ngog, whom I think is a good player, but not quite ready yet to fill in Torres shoes whenever he is out injured. The midfield too needs rebuffing. It was a mistake to let go Xabi Alonso 2 seasons ago, then they let Mascherano leave. They never learn. Look at them now. Who do they rely on now, to marshall the midfield? Lucas? Meireles? Poulson? Shelvey???? I think both Meireles and Poulson need time to adept, but Lucas is just shite! Liverpool have a history of having good holding midfielders, namely Ronny Whelan, Ditmar Hamman, Xabi and Mascherano. Now? LUCAS! Oh my! So there u go, come January I hope Liverpool will be able to sign 2 more strikers, 1 holding mf and a host of good backups. Its either that, of fight for the drop.

Malaysia's Best 11?
I followed the Malaysian League closely when I was in primary school till early secondary. I followed Selangor but I kinda liked the KL team in the late 80s and early 90s. For me, those were the best days of my life, going to stadiums (Merdeka, Cheras, Shah Alam, Kubu, Paroi and the old Dato Sheikh Ahmad Stadium in my dad's home town in Perlis). I reckon we had some good players back then but unfortunately most of them were banned coz of bribery. Here are my 11 best players during that time. I'll throw in some subs as well for that matter. Oh, Ball-ocks!
- Rashid Hassan - KL - Reliable gk. Remembered him fondly for denying Tony Cottee and Greame Sharpe of Everton in the Malaysia-Everton friendly in 1990.
- Razip Ismail - KL - Leader at Right back - A great leader and someone who could run non stop for 90 mins
- A Jayakhantan - SEL- Thunderous Left back. Who could forget those chopstick legs daunting up and down the flanks? Has a thunderous left foot and can score goals.
- Lee Kin Hong - KED - Centre back. He is one cool lad. Can head, can kick and can lead.
- Zaid Jamil - KL and SEL- Centre back. The late Zaid is known for his coolness but he has a secret weapon, his pace.
- P. Ravindran - PRK- LM- This short man reminds me of Ruel Fox.
- Shahrin Majid - SEL and KL - RM- Very fast, very skillfull.
- Azizol Abu Hanifah - PRK- What a player! Its a shame he had to cut short his footballing carrer, otherwise he could be the man leading Malaysia to greater heights
- Dollah Salleh - Johor and SEL - ST - Prolific and very intelligent.
- Matlan Marjan - Sabah - ST - for a player to score 2 goals against a full England team, he should be in the first 11
- Yap Wai Loon - KL and Sabah - In the hole - Skillfull and crafty.
- Khairul Azman - Pahang and Sabah - GK
- Tang Siew Seng - KL - CB/RB
- Arifin Osman - Tganu - MF/ST
- Hashim Mustapha - KEL- ST
- Khalid Shahdan - JHR- MF
- E Elenggovan - PRK- MF
- Khan Hung Meng - SEL - MF
- Lim Teong Kim - KL- MF
- Reman Regunathan - Sel- RB/LB
- Zainal Abidin Hassan - Sel and Pahang - ST

Welcome!
Footie fans! Welcome! This blog is for me to give my views on football. There will be fun stats, wicked elevens, news shite, links, gossips, views on shitty managers and players, and WAGS! So bare with me. Please note that I might use vulgar words, so if you're under 18, just *bleep* or *tut* yourselves.
My name is Syed, I am from Malaysia. Beautiful country with shitty a football league. I support Tottenham Hotspur since I was about 8, where my hero back then was Clive Allen and Chris Waddle, just before they left and In came Gary Lineker (1989) and Gazza (1987). We were quite strong back then, having won the FA Cup and finished third in the old 1st Div. Good players come and go, namely David Ginola, Juergen Klinsmann, Erik Thorsvedt, Gary Mabbut, Sol The Judas Campbell, Teddy Sheringham, Darren Anderton, Les Ferdinand, Christian Ziege, Edgar Davids, Dimitar Berbatov and the list goes on and on and on. Despite almost getting relegated in two occasions, I remain true and still support the team who have failed to maintain their consistency throughout a whole season. I've been thru ups and downs, and right now things are looking bright for a young Spurs team. So thats a lil bit about me. Now on with the blog, sit back, enjoy and Ball-ocks!
